How to change administrator password on Windows Server 2016/2019/2022

To change admin/user password on Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, please apply the following steps:

  1. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Ctrl+Alt+End if you're on RDP
  2. Click on Change a password
  3. Enter the current password, the new password and confirm the new password.
  4. Hit Enter to complete
